Taiwan is added to the Tier 5 youth mobility scheme

Taiwan joined the list of countries and territories that participate in the UK's youth mobility scheme 1st January 2012.The countries already participating are Australia, Canada, Japan, Monaco and New Zealand.

English Language Requirements for spouses, partners and points-based applications

The UK Border Agency has recently made some amendments to the list of approved English language tests for applications made under Tiers 1, 2 and 4 of the points-based system and for spouse or partner applications.

The visa application centre at the British Embassy in Tehran remains closed until further notice.

UK Border Agency is unable to accept or process visa applications from Iranian nationals in Tehran wishing to travel to the UK.
