Tier 2 candidates and their dependant family members are not allowed any recourse to public funds whilst in the UK
-
The candidate and any accompanying dependants over the age of 16 years, must register with the UK Police if this is required (generally this only applies to nationals of certain countries)
-
The candidate must undertake the employment specified on the Certificate of Sponsorship, any changes to the role (i.e. duties and responsibilities, salary, location) must be properly declared to the UK Border Agency
-
The candidate may take supplementary work and engage in voluntary work providing it does not impact on their main role in the UK
